Besides the popular island hopping tours, the underwater world is also one of the better ones in the Philippines. There are snorkelling opportunities around the entire village. However, the best way to explore the underwater world is by diving.

Fortunately, El Nido has many dive shops for a wonderful dive. There is also the possibility to get your PADI here. Whichever way you dive, the ocean is beautiful here. Very diverse, many large sea turtles, and we were even lucky to spot a Mantaray which is certainly not common here.

The best beach of El Nido

Nacpan Beach is one of the best beaches in El Nido. A scenic 45 minute motorbike ride from the village takes you to Nacpan Beach. This is a 4 kilometer long beach with coconut palms that fill the entire coastline. The tip of Nacpan splits into Calitang Beach. Small beach shacks sell fresh coconuts, seafood and beach beds.
